Brointermed Lines have the pleasure to announce to their Customer that the ILE Service will resume calling at Genoa port starting from m/v Vento di Grecale voy 1298, eta Genoa 16/11/2021.

we would like to inform you that Brointermed will adjust the Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSS) in accordance to the bunker trend during the month of July 2021. A circular message with the new value will be sent by our offices.

We are proud to announce that Brointermed Lines and BREB, who since several years have been operating their separate liner services from the Continent to the Mediterranean, have decided to join their operational forces and agreed on a vessel sharing agreement effective as from the end of July 2020. This offers a monthly dedicated multipurpose service linking Bremen, Harwich, Antwerp and La Spezia to the main Algerian and Libyan ports and vice versa. The first sailing will be performed by m/v BREB STAR, exclusively dedicated to this new service, sailing on her maiden voyage from Bremen on the 25th of July.
The two companies expect that this new initiative will generate additional synergies both South and North bound and will soon enable them to increase the frequency of their services by adding a second similar vessel.

Brointermed Lines Ltd is one of the leading shipping lines serving North Africa and East Med from the North Continent, UK, Portugal, and Mediterranean ports. BREB is a highly diversified Shipping Company with own Fleet-, own Chartering-, Port Agency- and Port Logistics-division. Dear Valued Customers,

As of the 1st of January 2020 the new regulation issued by International Maritime Organizations (IMO) will come into force, finalized to reduction of pollution.

The vessels will have to switch to low sulphur bunker consumption worldwide, thus bringing to bunker price increase.

Brointermed Lines will inform the tariff increase caused by this new measure through a new notice.

Due to the present situation in Libya, the Insurance Co. increased the war risk premium. Brointermed Lines has no other option to adjust the WAR RISK SURCHARGE from the Mediterranean as follows:

Containers from euro 150/teu to euro 200/teu
General Cargo from euro 8,50 w/m to eur 11,00 w/m

The increase will be applied as from next available sailings.
